The Seeds Of a New Generation

flowers with dew

Originally uploaded by jk10976

It is a parents responsibility to raise a child that will learn to raise a new generation. As kids we need to be ready to keep the flower alive; kids must be able to water the flower. So I ask you kids, we got to be ready. Soon our parents will go on. We must be able to keep the flower from dying. I hope you kids get the meaning of this post.

Surround me with your presence,

surround me with your love, oh Lord.

Don't leave me, oh, Lord please don't leave

You have taken me this far, don't leave me here.

What I'm trying to tell you is, that no matter how life is...God is with us!

The power of the flag is a sign of a free living nation. This nation is called the United States Of America. It all started on July 4th. It was started by the hearts and the minds of men and women to earn a free country. We were laughed and joked about they called us names. They said we were fools. But we did not stop fighting to be free. I believe that we were fighting for a good reason to be free. Soon they let us be a free nation. At that time George Washington was our President. That is why we celebrate the special day of July 4th

Clara Barton is best known as being the founder of the American Red Cross and, prior to this significant achievement, as a nurse who tended to countless wounded soldiers on Civil War battlefields. Her tireless, compassionate work during the Battle of Antietam in the Civil War would inspire praise of her as being "the true heroine of the age, the angel of the battlefield"—the latter part of the phrase associated with her name thereafter. But why this courageous woman chose to pursue a challenging and difficult career path despite great obstacles, and how much else she accomplished and endured in her long and productive life, is just as noteworthy as the work for which she is well remembered.

The Life Form Of Friendship

Dinner at Downtown Disney

Originally uploaded by MAPryor

First, friendship starts with a seed oh so tiny and small; it soon grows up to be a child. Laughs from the people will be heard. Long-lived chats are heard as the seed is growing. Soon, it grows to teenager cheers. The friendship seed is growing. It turns to an adult flower. Red, yellow, and blue colors appear on the flower; a friendship is formed. Laughs and long-lived chats are heard from the house of the friendship flower.

Life can be short lived. We must move in and rescue the lost for there time may be short lived. We must do what the Lord sent us here; He sent us here to rescue the lost so there life may be lived forever. I hope that you realize what the meaning of this message is.

Your dream must live long. Don't throw the towel in!

Martin Luther King Jr said, "I have a dream..." His dream came true!!!

You can't let the devil take you down and tell you, "Don't do it, throw the towel in. Your gonna be entering the world of danger." Say "devil go away, I'm not gonna quit! I'm going to pursue my dream!"

God made us so we could live to do great things. The Lord is my Shepherd and my Leader and when things grow dark He's right by my side, He will help me pursue the great dream of the Pentecostals of OC to win souls. We are here in OC to reach out to lost souls. No matter what you go through God is on your side...so my question is are you going to fight back or stay in the box?

Fathers are wonderful people,
too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
as often as we should,

For Father struggles daily
to live up to his image
As protector and provider
and hero of the scrimmage,

And perhaps that is the reason
we sometimes get the notion
That fathers are not subject
to the thing we call emotion.

But if you look inside Dad's heart,
where no one else can see,
You'll find he's sentimental
and soft as he can be.

Fathers are just wonderful
in a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments
and accolades of praise,

For the only reason Dad aspires
to fortune and success
Is to make the family proud of him
and bring them happiness,

And like our heavenly Father,
he's a guardian and a guide,
Someone we can count on
to be always on our side.

Taste of Music

A young woman
In a long black dress
Slim fingers
And a taste for
Music.

Hesitant,
Brow furrowed
But slowly walking
Towards the gleaming
Piano.

She sits
and stares
At the white, pearly
Keys laid out
Before her.

She places her hands
Delicately
Softly
Lovingly
On the white
And black ladder.

Where does it lead?

To a friends laugh
A loving hug
And a first kiss-
Sweetness equal
To that of
Chocolate.

She pushes down
Lightly on the first rung
And a deep tone
Pierces the dark room.

A smile plays
mischievously on
Her mouth
As she once again
Tastes the
Music.

That is my mom with hands of piano glory.
